We are YaYa and Wuelo to our gaggle (and growing brood) of grandbabies.  We are Melissa and Ruben to everyone else.  Our blended family of six children are grown and flown making us empty nesters.  Ruben is a graduate of the Culinary Institue of America and works professionally as a chef.  Melissa has worked professionally in the culinary field specializing in desserts and cake design. 

 

Together, we want to show you how delicious meals can be made easy, combining both nostalgic recipes our children grew up on as well as our travel-inspired dishes.  We also want to show you how cooking for two can be made manageable and fun.  We know cooking and baking can be intimidating sometimes and want to make both as accessible as possible through our recipes and how-to's, which also involves using pre-made ingredient elements.  We are passionate and sometimes sassy but believe this is the spice of life.  Thanks for stopping by!
